No harm no foul, but we need to cap this before someone does get offended.

Thanks guys

So, getting back on topic, does anyone know who built the guitar in the
picture?

Hey everyone...I thought blatant political remarks, much like religion were not tolerated on this forum?

What does it matter if he has the G chord up a fret...he learned guitar from his father who plays a A chord up a fret as well...

And besides it isnt like the guitar was made by a London based company that had just sold its "sound" port to a United Arab Emirate company from Dubai...oh wait that is another story...never mind

I zoomed in on the picture of Bush to see if I could see the brand of guitar...the presidential seal looks like a foil backed decal and the headstock...I cant quite make it out but it looks like Halliburton?...

I now I am very new here, so I will stay off the proverbial soap box. Since retiring after 20+ years of service under 4 different Presidents, I have developed enough scar tissue to numb most of the pain caused by the comments of the uniformed. I do not know or ever spoke with John, but I agree with his comment about the limited information you or privy to. Please remember that the media is the perfect forum to exploit and minipulate--thats about all I can say about that

Why is it that if someone makes a comment that might not agree with an opion, they are automatically "uninformed"? I consider myself very well informed. My brother in law is a Lt.Col in the AF. Was at the Pentagon for 4 years and was Tommy's assistant when he was working out of Oman during the first part of the war. (Side note, VERY few people know that Tommy Franks was working out of Oman during that period). So I've got access to all information that is not classified. And I seak it out. And this information is what I base my political opinions upon.
On the media note, it goes both ways, it's not just the horrible liberal media trying to attack the right.

Surely you mean uninformed, not uniformed right? We can bring this topic up in 50 more years after our non-disclosure agreements run out!

Ok fellas, ive (KINDLY) asked twice now to cap this topic. There are other places to discuss politics, the OLF is NOT one of them.

Thanks!
Lance

...O.K. guys, all politics aside, let's talk about what's important. That guitar is in fact a Carvin 'Cobalt C980'... Thought you'd like to know.
